What Makes PolyVent Curtains Different?
If your livestock or agricultural buildings could use some more light and less noise, PolyVent is the right solution for you. But how do they work?
The PolyVent system uses thermostats to control the blowers, which then inflate the PolyVent curtain. When the temperature exceeds the set temperature, the bottom blower will shut off, and the curtain will slowly deflate and collapse into the button gutter, moving it out of the way. This allows fresh, outside air to enter the building.
When you need more ventilation, the top blowers will automatically shut down. The remaining tubes will collapse until the desired temperature is reached. PolyVent is perfect for areas where the weather can be wild and unpredictable.
JanAire RidgeVents
Another product from JanAire is their RidgeVents. Natural ventilation is a concept that has been around for a long time, but there was always the problem of regulating the amount of hot air passing through the ridge of a structure. That’s why JanAire developed the RidgeVent.
The way they work is a thermostat-controlled blower keeps a bladder full to maintain optimal interior conditions. When the sensor notices that ventilation is needed, the blower shuts off, and the bladder deflates. The warm air can then rise up naturally.
The RidgeVent also has high sides that keep rain from blowing through.
